Krause’s Taxidermy Studio: Our Beginnings and Our Accomplishments

Jason Krause, owner, started with a fish mounting kit at the age of 14. A Pine Grove High School alumna, Mr. Krause graduated from the Pennsylvania Institute of Taxidermy in 1992. He attends and competes in several taxidermy shows each year.
For several consecutive years, Mr. Krause competed in the World Taxidermy Championships in Peoria, IL. Most recently, he placed in the top five in his division. Among his accomplishments is receiving “Best in World” for the Master Division of the “Reptiles, Amphibians, and Other” category.
For nearly 30 years, Mr. Krause has created quality shoulder mounts, full body posing, hunting mounts, and other taxidermy services. The local Times News has featured his story and successes. Krause’s Taxidermy Studio also has a five-star rating online.
